My Thoughts : What Is Privilege? Privilege is a person's ability to have rights and freedoms based on the circumstances of their birth. I like to think of it as "life's lottery".
Privilege Refers to the benefits provided to you based solely on the circumstances of your birth (where, when, race, sexual orientation, culture, etc.) and is not based on any talent, effort, or hard work on your part. Privilege is about how society accomadates you. It's about advantages you have that you think are normal. It's about you being normal, and others being the deviation from normal. It's abot fate dealing from the bottom of the deck on your behalf.
