Social Justice The full participation and inclusion of all people in society, together with the promotion and protection of their legal, civil, and human rights. The aim of social justice is to achieve a just and equitable society where all share in the prosperity of that society- pursued by individuals and groups through collaborative social action. Social Justice is about achieving and maintaining equity. In this course, you will learn how to identify social justice issues and investigate the underlying causes of injustice. It is the underlying causes that need addressing-usually in the form of social change, transformation, systemic change, and capacity building. This course is about empowerment, transofrmation, equity, a civil society, and participatory democracy.
